Coat-of-Arms Hall at the Klagenfurt Landhaus

With its 665 coats of arms and the Duke’s Chair, the heraldic hall in the Landhaus in Klagenfurt is among Carinthia’s most important historic monuments. Josef Ferdinand Fromiller, Carinthia’s best-known baroque painter, created the coats of arms with a great deal of artistic precision and baroque opulence, on behalf of countless princes and noble families, forging one of Austria’s most beautiful and impressive halls in the process.
