The open-air museum Maria Saal is the oldest museum of its kind in Austria and presents rural dwellings and farmsteads from the different regions of Carinthia. 38 objects from six centuries provide an insight into the way people lived and farmed in the past as well as the way they kept house and provided for their families.

Opening hours

May 1st to Oct. 26th: Tuesday to Sunday and public holiday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., July-August: Tuesday to Sunday and public holiday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
