Decision on national affiliation
39,291 persons were entitled to cast their vote in the plebiscite on 10 October 1920. A general ban on alcohol had been enacted. Thanks to the organisational work done by the allied voting commission, there were no incidents on the day of the plebiscite. The official result was published on 13 October 1920.
